WRite wHere I’m supposed to be – I’ll let you know if we make it to Ruth’s Chris Steak House instead of our all time favorite K&W Cafeteria. Of course, then we may have to postpone being debt-free. In the meantime, I’d love to read what’s on your before-you-kick-the-bucket-list list.
On the side: Thanks to friend and photographer Sally Taylor for giving permission to use her inspirational photos. Fly high!
Daring to Live Fully, 525+ ideas to add to our bucket lists
Great list! I especially love the \”daytrip, daytrip, and daytrip more\”. I love going on daytrips, it makes me feel like I\’m on a one-day vacation and recharges my batteries.
Thanks, Annette. That\’s one of my favorites also. We lived with my aunt and weekly she\’d come home from work and say, \”Let\’s get in the car and go somewhere.\” And we would – such fun memories.
Just checked out your website/blog – very cool. A listologist … I can so relate! And congrats on giving blood. I\’ve only done it once and now I think I\’ve done my part for life. Instead, I signed up to be an organ donor. Sounded easier to give once I\’m gone.
Congrats on your list! You\’ll probably find that you\’ll have even more things to keep adding to your list. I\’m excited about riding a hot air balloon in September myself. Can\’t wait to hear all about your adventures!
So fun to read your blog and find out you\’re not crazy but, instead, \”painfully responsible.\” Actually, that\’s probably what drives us crazy! So you\’ve already got your hot air balloon scheduled? I\’ve got no plans for anything on my list. Here\’s an idea I saw on another blog, though, and I liked it probably because I have no plans for my present list : ) – to post what I\’ve already accomplished. That\’s likely going to be my next list other than this week\’s to-do list.
Retire, Retire, Retire!
I already have the tattoo (only for my eyes, or Ray\’s)
Go with my family to Disney World now that I have a granddaughter
Get out of debt (which will probably not happen in my lifetime!)
Slow down enough to spend more time with God
Read all those books I\’ve stashed back (refer to the first line)
No way! You already have a tattoo. Of what? Didn\’t mean to leave John out … he would, of course, get to see it also. He has an eagle – I love it. But scared to get one myself. I\’m not crazy about needles.
I love your list. How did I forget retire? Maybe when we do, we\’ll see you in Disney.
Looks like I\’ll be accomplishing at least one of these by 2016. Our son just gave us gift certificates (that expire September 5, 2016) to take a hot air balloon ride over Asheville, NC. Unbelievable gift! Thanks, yikes and up, up and away ~~~
